Class Types
Slow Flow
Mindful, soft vinyasa yoga with attention to breath. A slower paced class with longer holds for those searching for a relaxing, restorative yoga experience while exploring the details of breath and alignment. In a typical Slow Flow class, you will practice about half the number of poses you might practice in a Vinyasa Flow class. The pace is meditative, emphasizing peace and calm in body and mind. We hold poses longer, taking several rounds of breath in each pose, instead of moving to each breath.
Morning Sadhna
A mindful, gentle yoga practice of beginners yoga postures and stretches for the first half of class, followed by a meditative Yin practice to improve flexibility, strength, and balance while bringing peace and calm to the body, mind, and soul.
Gentle Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation
Class opens with nonmoving mindfulness meditation, followed by a gentle yoga practice of beginner yoga postures and stretches. The mindfulness meditation techniques of breath and body awareness during yoga create what is referred to as a "moving meditation" with yoga postures encompassing the movement portion. Class ends with a 10 minute Savasana.
